Wedding at Loch Ard

Helen rememebered Jiggered from her Strathclyde days and booked us up for her wedding to Anthony. Helen and Anthony had booked the stunning Altskeith Country House, Kinlochard. It’s secluded by the side of a beautiful loch. And what a hidden gem is. We’re glad we found it!

Our bride and groom weren’t sure their guests would be up for a ceilidh…this photo was taken at the break- it shows what the dance floor (which opened out onto the stunning garden) looked like empty. This was the only time it looked like this! The crowd were absolutely fantastic, dancing all night. Nothing phased this lot- we wheeled out the Folla Reel, Cumberland Basket, Eightsome Reel and they jigged the night away. 

Glad I didn’t get breathalised on the way home- the wedding cake contained a generous splash of booze I think!
