Wedding at Aberdeen's Ardoe House

A Saturday night road-trip to Aberdeen for ceilidh. I recruited Raymie and Emma to car share and they made a fine team. Emma turned up with a stash of sugary goods to keep me awake on the drive home into the wee hours and Raymie kept the banter flowing while Emma snored for most of the journey!

Marina and Andy were tying the knot in Aberdeen and their reception was at the impressive Ardoe House. We’ve played here a few times (and the crowd each time has been a similar mob- they obviously enjoy the Jiggered ceilidh experience). After the Grand March, Marina and Andy peformed their first dance to Emma’s lovely version of “How Long Will I Love You”. After that we crammed in an hour and a half of ceilidh action, covers and a few favourite songs of the newlyweds including Rend Collective’s “Lighthouse” which had featured during the wedding ceremony!
