Statistics Don't Lie

Anytime Glasgow University’s Statistics Department host a ceilidh, Jiggered are the significant outliers drafted in. A strong correlation has been empirically established between the endless enthusiasm of last night’s postgraduates and the sweatiness of the ceilidhers!

This crowd always throw themselves into the ceilidh action (many first time ceilidh dancers, many from overseas). It was a relentless workout for them as dance after dance after dance ensued in an action-packed night! They never even relaxed during our break- instead, as has become a tradition at this event, they performed dances and poems, songs and karaoke. There’s never a dull moment with this bunch. And of course Prof Adrian Bowman likes to entertain the crowd with a Scottish tune- he received a thunderous response to his latest performance.
