Lodge On Loch Lomond Wedding

Jonathan and Kirsten’s wedding was a great one to be involved in. There were a couple of connections with the band- Jiggered’s Emma and bride Kirsten know each other from university (both are ridiculously clever cookies) and I know John Speirs who married the couple. The venue was a familiar one for us: the Lodge on Loch Lomond. It’s a beautiful setting and the view from the McMillan Suite is just stunning.

Jonathan and Kirsten had one our all-time-favourite seating plans. It was themed around the TV Series “Friends” and shared some of the key moments in the couple’s relationship over the years!

The crowd were up for a ceilidh- their “Hooligan’s Jig” moves deserve a special mention and I can’t remember a more exhuberant reponse to us playing “Someone Like You” and “Dignity”. Jonathan was singing our praises at the end of the night, saying he’d recommend us to anyone who’d listen!
