Jiggered Busy With Weddings

Jiggered Ceilidh Band had another busy weekend there.

On Friday, we were back at New Lanark Mill Hotel again for the wedding of Ruth and David. It was a great night- the crowd were really up for ceilidhing and the hall was just about big enough for all the guests who wanted to get on the floor! It was nice to see some familiar faces at this one (Boycey, David Dalgleish and Jiggered-diehard and honourary member Ruth Hutchison!).

On Saturday I made the most of my problem-solving and spatial awareness skills to figure out how to pack the 4 members of Jiggered, a set of drums, 2 speakers, 2 microphones, 1 piano, 1 guitar, 1 amp, 1 violin, luggage etc into my car ready for our roadtrip to London!

Saturday night we were playing at the Edinburgh Capital Hotel. Our clients were really enthusiastic and the feedback from the wedding guests was very positive…which was nice!
