Jiggered at Hospice Fundraiser

Last millennium, I went to school with a girl called Emma. Some years (and about 500 Facebook messages later) Jiggered were playing at mma’s great fundraiser in Kilmarnock’s St Joseph’s Hall. Emma’s been raising money all year for Ayrshire Hospice, in memory of her dad Norman Muir Birnie.

The evening was a lot of fun and the hall was packed with families and young children enjoying each other’s company, the music, raffle and food.

Tonight’s ceilidh brought in over £1000 and Emma is not stopping yet. She’s heading off with her wee family to Florida in the morning but will soon return to her latest challenge: a half marathon. We wish Emma all the best with her fundraising adventure!
