Ich bin Ausländer

Ok, perhaps one year learning German way back in 1994 means I’m somewhat underqualified to write that blog headline. But we had a brilliant evening with this bunch of German visitors…wunderbar!!

We were treated to fabulous food, singing from our overseas guests, polished performances from their Scottish hosts, impressive lederhosen and beermaid outifts. The photo is just one I took of Jorg, a thoroughly entertaining chap who everyone seemed to love!

This was a crowd who were “up for a ceilidh” even though half of them leave at 8am tomorrow morning to drive back to Germany. A treat for us to play for them all!
