Glasgow's Sherbrooke Castle

It’s a busy wee spell for one of Scotland’s most in-demand ceilidh bands. Our latest event was Rachael and Paul’s wedding at Sherbrooke Castle, Glasgow. Rachael and Paul asked us to play Ben Folds’ “Luckiest” for their first dance which although a unique request for us in 13 years of weddings, turned out to be a beautiful choice (even if, as Rachael explained, they hadn’t been the luckiest with the weather earlier in the day).

This was another fantastic crowd (we’ve been spoiled that way in recent weeks) and the whole evening was great fun. There was a cricket-theme going on- from the table names to the seating plan. I wasn’t bowled over by this (!).

I’m off for a week now, so Stephen will be deputising on the keys in my absence for our next wedding: that of our old buddy David!
