Dunfermline Wedding

Jill and Ryan were getting married and entrusted the important responsibility of the music to Jiggered Ceilidh Band. The wedding was in The Glen Pavilion, situated in Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline. We’ve played there before and it’s hosted some impressive guests over the years including the Queen and Dalai Lama!

With Susan on maternity leave and Ewan in Tunisia, the band line-up was a wee bit different but in fiddler Raymie and drummer Joseph we had a safe pair of pair of hands! Ryan and Jill really liked our blend of Scottish tunes, ceilidh dances and covers and we packed loads into the evening’s programme. We even managed to throw in a couple of their favourites (wheeling out our versions of Christina Perry’s Thousand Years and Barry Louis Polisar’s All I Want is You- an excuse for me to dust off the old harmonica!).

Some quality bacon rolls and sweety ‘pick n mix’ put a smile on my face. Yum.

Fantastic banter, tasty food and lots of keen dancers (the closing Strip the Willow was epic) made this a really fun evening.
