Cyborg Back in Action!

Jiggered’s final wedding of 2014 was in the Hilton Grosvenor in Glasgow’s West End. Louise booked us up after hearing us at the Hampden Wedding Show and we’re delighted she did- the reception was unique, with several performances from friends and family of the bride and groom. Two of their friends sung the first dance song, a couple of bridesmaids performed a fantastic medley of songs for the newlyweds and then there was a flashmob-style surprise of “A Season of Love” by members of their amateur dramatic group!

Ewan took some real nice photos at the Hilton but the undoubted star of the show was our Emma. Having just undergone heart surgery on Wednesday, it looked like we were in a desperate spot without our singer/guitarist/caller. But Emma is an absolute trooper and didn’t let us down! She arrived (with her new pacemaker) and was absolutely superb as usual! She had to answer about a million questions about the procedure and her new bit of electronics and we even got to feel the device. I’m something of an expert now! 

Anyway, a fit and healthy Jiggered team seems like a brilliant Christmas present. Hope all our fans have a great Christmas too: “A saviour has been born to you: He is Christ the Lord”.
