Cartland Bridge Wedding

It’s easy to get up tight when your wedding day is approaching…you want it to run like clockwork and for every little detail to pan out exactly as you’ve imagined, planned and dreamed it for months. But remember! This is your wedding- a day to enjoy and savour. Angela might just be the most relaxed bride we’ve ever worked with- she chatted excitedly with us at the start of the evening about how the day had gone and was buzzing about the rest of the evening, And sure enough, she loved every minute! From the first dance (our cover, by special request, of Jason Mraz’s “I won’t give up”), to the ceilidh dances, to boogying during our break (to Angela’s playlist including the Slosh, Gangnam Style, Timewarp…) it was clear this bride was having a blast.

As ever, the Jiggered team had a great evening. This was our first visit to Cartland Bridge Hotel, Lanark. The grounds are lovely and it’s an impressive building! Quality band banter revolved around Emma’s proposal of the Theology of Batman, Ewan’s insight that “backs can be deceiving”, while Chris and Susan decided they needed to decide they needed to choose “their song”…
