As people all around the world celebrated Star Wars Day (May the Fourth…) Omar, Laura and their families and friends had another reason to celebrate - Omar and Laura’s wedding day!

Omar and Laura’s special day was at The Gailes Hotel in Irvine, North Ayrshire, where we believe they broke the record for the longest speeches at that venue to date - yet another thing to celebrate! ;)

Once we got going, it was our rendition of ‘Home’ by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes for the happy couple’s first dance, then straight into back to back ceilidh dances as we squeezed in as many as we possibly could in our slightly shorter than planned set! Everyone was well up for it and even those who’d never ceilidh’d got involved, which we love to see! Once we’d done our bit, it was over to the DJ for an Arabic playlist and it was fun to hear and see everyone getting involved with that as we packed down.
