Loch Lomond Waterfront Wedding
It was a first visit to the fantastic Loch Lomond Waterfront Lodges for Jiggered Ceilidh Band last night. Emma knows Graham and Kirsty (the lovely couple getting married) and so they were keen to have us play for them! The first dance was our version of Sinéad O’Connor’s “Only You”…we’d never even heard the song before Graham and Kirsty asked us to learn it. However, it was a beautiful first dance song and loads of guests came over to ask us about it during the night.
A few nationalities were represented at the wedding and even the first-timer ceilidhers were loving the dances…the Cumberland Basket was a huge hit!
Kirsty chatted to us at the break and predicted that the buffet would get a special mention in this blog. After two yummy rolls (one with sausage and tattie scone, the other with bacon) I have to say the catering team were super!
Set-up chat at the start of the evening for Jiggered focussed on failed driving tests and things that make us greet. Thankfully, there was no crying last night!
Two ceilidhs next weekend…in St Andrews and Edinburgh!
