Over the years Adrian Bowman has booked Jiggered Ceilidh Band again and again. We regularly play for him at Glasgow University for events he organises. This time, however, we were providing the ceilidh for the Glasgow leg of Adrian’s son’s wedding celebrations. Richard and Kerrie married in Cambridge but wanted to have a bit of a party back up in Scotland and Adrian knew just the band for the occasion!

The venue? A lovely venue in Bearsden where we’ve never played before: Kilmardinny House. It was a great night- the guests certainly knew how to ceilidh (Emma had an easy night, with minimum calling required!). 

During the night we might just have coined a new word: gigly (see the photo for the definition). You’re welcome, world.
