Nothing beats a MASSIVE ceilidh!
Andrew and Katie’s wedding was a stoater. The West End of Glasgow had been where the couple met many years ago as students so Oran Mor was the perfect venue for their big day.
We ended up playing a couple of one hour sets, but they were personalised and action packed. Andrew and Katie asked us to learn “Never Seen Anything Quite Like You” by The Script for their first dance and Gemma’s version was a big hit! After that we performed Carrie Underwood’s “The Girl You Think I Am” as Katie’s choice for a dad-daughter dance- it was lovely! Add into the mix “Jeremiah Weed” for the assembly military folk and everyone was happy.
It was a big wedding with a packed dance floor all night- just the way we like it. And you know the ceilidh’s been a success when chants of “ONE MORE TUNE” drown out the DJ coming on after us, resulting in the inevitable finale: Loch Lomond.
What. A. Ceilidh!
