You don’t expect good ceilidh bands to grow on trees but this blog photo will change your mind! It was taken last night at the Shawlands Park Hotel, which has been transformed in recent years into a really modern, beautiful venue. Jiggered Ceilidh Band were, of course, the chosen source of ceilidh entertainment for Joanna and Anthony’s wedding. Father of the bride, Kevan, is one of our biggest fans and we’ve been able to play for him on a few occasions!

Keen ceilidhers, appreciative audience, a sugar-rush candy bar, tasty buffet rolls….there was plenty to love about this event. It was also the return of Susan after her maternity and to have her back is Jiggered-tastic: the fantastic four reunited!
